Pakenham & District Basketball Association is delighted to announce the 2018 Big V Head Coaching appointments.
Senior Men:
After taking the team to the Grand Final series in his first year as Head Coach, Brent Russell returns to the reigns of our Pakenham Warriors senior Men’s team. Brent has created a true CLUB environment amongst his players, and it is a huge pleasure to have him continue on for next season.
Youth League Men:
Simo Pajdic is returning for his third season as Pakenham Warriors YLM Head Coach. Simo guided the YLM team to a top-place regular season finish last season, and the team looks well placed to take that next step towards a championship.
Youth League Women:
The YLW will have a change in 2018, with Jill Appleton stepping up to take over as Head Coach. Jill has been a player and more recently, an Assistant Coach in our Women’s program. Previously Jill has coached 3 years at Victorian Championship level (qualifying for National Championships twice) and a D-League Assistant Coach in SEABL Youth competition. Pakenham & District Basketball Association would like to thank departing Head Coach Darren Thomas, for his dedication, hard work, and commitment to our Girl’s program over the past 3 years, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
