Pakenham’s Nicholas Ross has been called up to take his place in this weekends Big V Metro v Country All Star game.
This weekend sees the second annual Origin All Star Series Women’s and Men’s teams, whom will compete against each other on June 10 2017 at the newly developed Casey Indoor Leisure Centre at 6pm and 8pm AEST respectively.
These select players were chosen by a competition panel who identified and invited these outstanding individuals to take part in the yearly event. In addition, Associations were asked to nominate players before the selection panel was formed to appropriately select the best teams to reflect the competition.
Big V Basketball’s Origin All Star Series will keep the action up – even at half-time – with the announcement of the Bendigo Bank Rowville 3-Point and Dunk Contestants. The 3-Point Shootout will be held at half-time of the Men’s All Star Game (8pm), while the Dunk Contest will be held at half-time of the Women’s All Star Game (6pm).
